The enthusiasm for design compelled me to renounce a career as art teacher and engineering lecturer to return to study. After qualifying from London Metropolitan University, I started from the ground up to eventually work in luxury retail sector as a kitchen and bathroom designer. It was here I realised the disconnect between presenting accurate CAD drawings and what was being so poorly built. Determined to enable my clients with a comprehensive and personalised Design Project Management service, I went solo and established Design & Conker Interiors.



Engaging a friendly, down to earth partnership with my clients I create all interior design drawings, procure FF&E specifications and advise on budget allocation - where to spend and how to save without cutting corners or compromising quality. I work alongside building specialists to coordinate the Design Implementation Process. Having worked with these guys for years, we have a clear understanding of and deep respect for each others technical input. Site issues requiring lateral thinking, design fluidity and effective resolves are all handled in-house. The design journey commences from our first hand shake through to completion and sign off. Clients may choose to get actively or passively involved at any stage in the project but, can be assured that every aspect of the Design & Build is being professionally and personally looked after by me.
